Ayame Fujiwara solo show “The Telepathy Beat”
この度、HENKYOでは3/14(土)より、ペインターの藤原彩芽による個展「テレパシービート 」 を開催いたします。
わたしは生き延びるためなら何度でも真実を捏造する。わたしと同じような人が、陰謀論と常識を作っている。
真実に心を破壊されると、脳に期待する。
何かを感じることが怖いから、目の前の真実を信仰して、自らを苦しめる困難を、よろこんで愛するようになる。
本能も理性も信用していない。
わたしは真実と戦う言葉を、心を取り戻す言葉を、勇気に向かって放つ。
ー藤原彩芽ー
藤原は、インターネットや小説に見られる言説を手がかりに、真実がどのように作られ、信じられていくのかを問いかけている。作家は自身もまた「真実を捏造する」主体として語ることで、客観的な立場から批評するのではなく、その構造の内部に身を置く。正常/異常、主観/客観といった境界を揺さぶりながら、絵画作品を通して私たちが当然のものとして受け入れている現実認識の不確かさを示している。

HENKYO is pleased to present Telepathy Beat, a solo exhibition by painter Ayame Fujiwara, opening on Saturday, March 14.
I fabricate truth as many times as necessary in order to survive.
People like me are the ones who create conspiracy theories and common sense.
When the heart is shattered by truth, we turn to the brain in hope.
Because it is frightening to feel anything, we begin to worship the truth before our eyes, and even come to gladly love the hardships that torment us.
I trust neither instinct nor reason.
I release words that fight against truth—
words that reclaim the heart—
words cast toward courage.

Drawing on discourses circulating across the internet and in contemporary fiction, Fujiwara examines how truth is constructed and how it comes to be collectively believed. By positioning herself as a subject who also “fabricates truth,” the artist does not critique these mechanisms from an external or objective standpoint, but instead situates herself within these very structures.
Through her paintings, Fujiwara unsettles binaries such as normal/abnormal and subjective/objective, revealing the instability underlying the sense of reality we often take for granted.

Completed the MFA Program in Oil Painting, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Musashino Art University, 2026.
